DLXS User Group

As you have no doubt learned from other announcements, DLPS is initiating a DLXS User's Group. In addition to electronic exchanges of information, this will include informal informational meetings in the spring and fall, probably in the same location as the DLF Forum. We realize that not all of your institutions participate in DLF, but the chronological and geographic arrangement -- i.e., alternating east and west coasts, fall and spring -- of the Forums should also make access to the User's Group meetings convenient for non-DLF members. We are investigating the possibility of a meeting in Europe in the near future, as well, to accommodate those of you outside North America. Many people have reported that they find the opportunity to talk with us and with others during the workshops valuable, and we'd like to make it possible to have that experience without spending a week in Ann Arbor. Just a reminder: each DLXS institution will get to participate in the prioritization process, regardless of attendance at User's Group meetings.
